Children go through a series of developmental stages as they move from infants to teens and then to adults. These stages are important to all aspects of their individuality including physical, intellectual, emotional and social.
Child Guidance offers developmental screenings for children can be an important first step in identifying possible developmental issues with your child. Developmental screenings for the five main areas of development (communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving and personal-social) are available for children age one month to eight years old. Charges for services are based on your family size and income. SoonerCare and some private insurances are accepted. You won’t be refused services if you are unable to pay.
Child Guidance also offers help with parenting topics including sleep issues, discipline, social-emotional skills and normal negativism.
